I don`t have any experience with the Oberwerth bags in the rain, but in general, they are first class products. I have one which fits the SL with 24-90 and 90-280, and it is made to a very high standard. Not cheap, but you fell it`s worth the price.
Sometimes I use a Nokton f1.4 40mm with my M10 (normal use Minolta CLE)
I like this lens, but don't use it often as the frameline issue is really odd.
For a small solution the Skopar f2.5 35mm PII, mentioned above, is better.
PS: I use my Summaron f2.8 35mm if size matters ...

Thank you very much Bill, and yes - it was cold! Iceland in winter is not exactly the tropics, but I really love the contrast between the black sand and white snow / ice, and the contrast between the cold of the landscape and the warm of the sky. A truly inspiring combination!
